As a Junior FP&A Analyst, you will support core FP&A execution, including forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting, and model maintenance, in a fast‑paced public‑company environment. You will partner closely with senior FP&A leadership, accounting, and cross‑functional teams to deliver accurate, timely, and decision‑ready financial insights. Success in this role requires analytical rigor, ownership, learning agility, and clear communication.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Maintain and update financial models supporting budgets, forecasts, and reforecasts
- →Support monthly close, forecasting, and management reporting aligned with public‑company standards
- →Reconcile FP&A outputs to accounting actuals and support SEC reporting consistency
- →Perform variance analysis and explain key performance drivers
- →Prepare management reports with KPIs, trends, and insights
- →Assist with cash flow forecasting, burn‑rate analysis, and liquidity monitoring
- →Identify financial risks, trends, and anomalies and escalate insights as needed
- →Partner with teams to ensure spend aligns with budgets and priorities
- →Improve FP&A processes, models, and reporting workflows
- →Support financial analysis for new initiatives (robotics, intelligent systems, digital assets)
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 2–3 years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Advanced Excel skills and MS Office proficiency
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
- Curiosity and interest in automotive, technology, and robotics sectors
- Ability to work on-site in Los Angeles, CA.
Requirements

- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and planning tools
- Exposure to BI or data analytics platforms
- Experience or strong interest in Power BI, SQL, automated FP&A workflows, and AI‑enabled tools
- Exposure to public‑company, audit, or SEC reporting environments
- Mandarin speakers prefer
($80,000-$95,000 DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans
