Working Student - Business Support

Would you like to gain practical experience in the rapidly growing field of electric mobility while supporting the development of Fastned in Denmark?

At Fastned, you will become part of the Danish team and contribute to a broad range of activities across the business. You will support the Network Development team with market and competitor analyses, presentations, business cases, and project-related tasks. At the same time, you will assist the wider Danish team with ongoing administrative, analytical, and organisational work.

This is a varied role for someone who enjoys working across different topics, taking initiative, and helping a growing team succeed.

You will join an international, ambitious, and collaborative organisation working towards our mission: Freedom for the Electric Driver.

You’ll help us explore opportunities to grow Fastned’s charging network in Denmark. This means researching market trends, electric mobility and competing charging networks, as well as looking into potential new locations and their commercial potential. You’ll bring your findings together in clear analyses, presentations and business cases to help the team make informed decisions about where we grow next.

You’ll also support the Network Development team in keeping projects moving. From tracking progress and following up on actions to helping organise information about land acquisition, planning permissions and grid connections, you’ll get an insight into the different steps involved in developing a new charging station.

Alongside this, you’ll work with the wider Danish team on a variety of tasks and projects. This could include preparing reports and meeting materials, organising information, supporting day-to-day activities or finding ways to improve how we work. No two days will necessarily look the same, giving you the opportunity to learn about different parts of the business, take ownership of tasks and see how your work contributes to Fastned’s growth.

You do not need to be an expert in electric mobility from day one. As part of your onboarding, you will learn more about Fastned, our business, and the fundamentals of fast-charging infrastructure.

You’re curious, organised and analytical and enjoy getting stuck into new topics. You’re keen to learn, take initiative and play a part in shaping the future of electric mobility.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Current enrolment in a bachelor’s or master’s programme in business, economics, finance, engineering, geography, real estate, urban planning, project management or a related field.

• An interest in electric mobility, charging infrastructure, sustainable transport, real estate, market analysis or business development.

• Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to turn information from different sources into clear insights.

• A structured approach to work, attention to detail and the ability to manage different tasks and deadlines.

• Good communication skills, including the ability to present findings clearly and create engaging presentations and reports.

• Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• A proactive, practical mindset and a willingness to take ownership of tasks and support colleagues.

• The ability to work independently while collaborating with colleagues across different teams and countries.

• Fluency in written and spoken English. Danish is an advantage.
