At Ferring Pharmaceuticals, we help people around the world build families and live better lives. We are entrepreneurial and innovative, with a global team focused on scientific advances in the areas of reproductive and women’s health, gastroenterology and urology. Ferring + You is all about working together and sharing ideas, so that we can bring science to life for patients around the world.

Our Technical Operations division develops, manufactures and supplies high-quality products so our patients can live better lives. Creating and delivering life-changing products means getting it right first time is a shared responsibility, so our global manufacturing teams work closely together to ensure quality, accuracy and safety at all times. That means a culture of empowerment, where speaking up is valued, and growth and development are constant.

In this role, you will ensure global distribution activities remain compliant, efficient and audit-ready across regulatory, quality, supply chain and corporate requirements. The role combines distribution risk management, compliance governance, training, operational budget oversight and cross-functional program delivery.

We are looking for a pragmatic compliance professional who can translate complex requirements into sustainable global processes.

Distribution Risk & GDP Compliance

  • Lead the preparation, review and lifecycle management of Lane Risk Assessments for Marketing & Sales affiliates using Validaide or equivalent tools.
  • Assess temperature-controlled and ambient distribution routes, climatic exposure and operating environments in line with GDP, quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Quality, Logistics and Commercial teams to define, implement and monitor risk-mitigation measures.

Compliance Governance, SOPs & Training

  • Develop, revise and continuously improve SOPs, work instructions, guidelines and policies covering distribution compliance.
  • Coordinate stakeholder review and approval, maintain controlled documentation and promote global process harmonization.
  • Develop and deliver training on lane risk assessments, temperature management and related procedures; support onboarding, audits and inspections.
  • Act as back-up administrator for the Learning Management System, including curricula, assignments, completion monitoring, metrics, issue resolution and audit-ready records.

Cold Chain & Customs Budget Management

  • Manage budgets, forecasts and expenditure reporting for cold chain compliance and customs operations, identifying compliant cost-optimization opportunities.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Logistic, Finance and Supply Chain; create and manage purchase orders in Coupa and support timely invoice processing.

Market & Operating Model Transformation

  • Support design and execution of go-to-market model changes, including transitions to new operating models.
  • Maintain integrated roadmaps, milestones, KPIs, governance, dashboards, risks, dependencies and mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate workstreams across Commercial, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Trade Compliance, Finance, Tax and Legal.
  • Support market-readiness assessments, transition planning, distributor governance and future-state roles and decision rights.

Serialization & Product Security Support

  • Support global serialization compliance, governance documentation, training, issue escalation, data-integrity monitoring and KPI reporting.
  • Support investigation and documentation of suspected product events and coordinate responses to alerts from internal stakeholders, trading partners, regulators and healthcare channels.
  • Participate in root-cause analysis, CAPA activities, trend monitoring and risk assessments covering counterfeiting, diversion, theft and unauthorized distribution.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, Engineering, Finance or a related field; master's degree or MBA is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, distribution compliance, commercial operations, transformation or program management.
  • Experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, medical devices or another highly regulated industry.
  • Experience with global or regional organizations, GDP-compliant distribution and cross-functional transformation initiatives.
  • Exposure to market transitions, risk assessments, quality systems, SOPs and training administration is highly desirable.
  • GDP and pharmaceutical distribution regulations; distribution and lane risk management.
  • Program and project management, business-process design, change management and distributor governance.
  • Data analysis, KPI reporting and strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Validaide or similar lane-risk tools, Coupa or equivalent procurement systems, and Learning Management Systems.
  • Working knowledge of serialization, product security and suspect-event management is an advantage.
  • Strategic thinking with strong execution focus
  • Stakeholder management and influence without direct authority
  • Clear communication and presentation
  • Sound judgement, problem solving and decision making
  • Cross-cultural collaboration and relationship building
  • Resilience and adaptability in complex environments
  • Risk assessments, compliance documentation and training records are current, traceable and inspection-ready.
  • Distribution, transformation and product-security risks are identified early, assigned and mitigated effectively.
  • Cross-functional stakeholders receive clear governance, reliable reporting and practical compliance support.
  • Budgets and external services are managed responsibly without compromising compliance or product integrity.
  • Get inspired from our commitment to advocate for everyone’s right to build a family, no matter who you are, where you live or who you love.
  • Our inclusive support package – “Building Families at Ferring” provides equal and accessible policies for all employees who wish to start their family journey, ensuring a global standard, irrespective of location and role. Subject to a minimum period of employment at Ferring.
  • Parental leave for both birthing and non-birthing parents.
