To reach Net Zero, we need to solve big problems. Field will fund, build and run the renewable infrastructure we need to tackle these challenges. At Field, we will show that batteries are a totally viable part of our energy infrastructure - now, not in some distant future.

With a strong financial foundation and an extensive portfolio of battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in Germany, the UK, Italy, and Spain, we are actively driving the energy transition. Our most recent fundraising secured a £200 million investment from CVC DIF to accelerate our international growth and build a global BESS portfolio.

In Germany, we are expanding rapidly: Our first battery storage project of approximately 33 MWh is already live, with others to follow soon. Our goal is to establish a multi-GW pipeline of operational assets by 2030, strengthening the stability and flexibility of the German power grid.

Our team brings together experts with experience in billion-dollar tech startups, building energy companies, and deep expertise in energy markets. We are a dynamic, curious, and entrepreneurial team determined to make battery storage a core pillar of the energy transition—not at some distant point in the future, but right now. Our long-term ambition is to become a leading clean energy player in Germany and Europe in the coming years, expanding our portfolio beyond battery storage.

Your Mission

We are looking for a Senior Permitting Manager (Project Lead) that:

Owns and delivers BESS projects from site acquisition through to ready-to-build (RTB), with full accountability for timeline, budget, and project outcomes.
Takes responsibility for complex BESS projects and drive them to success—technically, commercially, and strategically.
Shapes our key projects through detailed programmes and risk registers to keep delivery on track and risks under control.
Acts as the single point of accountability for projects, leading cross-functional teams across grid, permitting, engineering, and finance.
