We are looking for a talented Software Engineer with a strong background in native iOS and Android development to join our agile software development and technology team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in migrating our existing React Native applications to native platforms and developing new, robust, and scalable native mobile applications.

About You

Experience and Skills:

• Fluent in English with excellent overall communication skills: Ability to communicate complex technical details coherently to both technical and non-technical teams.
• Willingness to Travel: Openness to travel abroad for project needs and team collaborations.
• Strong Background in Native iOS and Android Development: Experience with Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android is essential. Candidates should demonstrate a history of developing elegant, efficient, and scalable native mobile applications.
• Integration Expertise: Proven experience in integrating native APIs on iOS and Android platforms to extend functionality and improve user experiences.
• Code Quality: A history of writing well-documented, clean, and maintainable code in Swift and Kotlin. Understanding of Objective-C and Java is a plus for migrating existing projects.
• RESTful Services: Knowledge and experience working with REST APIs to connect iOS and Android applications to back-end services.
• State Management: Familiarity with state management tools and concepts applicable to native mobile development, such as Redux for React Native, now transitioning towards native equivalents like Jetpack Compose for Android and SwiftUI for iOS.
• Cross-platform Understanding: While the focus is on native development, experience with cross-compilation and a strong understanding of the differences between native and React Native development practices will be beneficial for the migration process.

Desirable:

• Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines and automation tools for building, testing, and deploying applications.
• Understanding of mobile app design guidelines (e.g., Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and Google's Material Design) and accessibility best practices.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
