As a Bar Host, you'll be the welcoming face of our establishment, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. You'll greet guests on arrival, answer the telephone, take reservations, field emails and ensure that our guests are seated promptly and in accordance with their preferences.

• Greet all guests warmly upon arrival
• Provide guests with estimated waiting times, maintaining a professional and courteous attitude even in challenging situations
• Seat guests according to their preferences while balancing customer flow in service stations
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return, relaying any feedback to the manager on duty
• Maintain excellent communication between the restaurant and other hotel departments
• Answer calls and field emails
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager on duty
• Promote other Firmdale Hotels and restaurants
• Ensure punctuality and personal responsibility in all tasks

• Friendly and welcoming demeanor
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Availability for AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for long periods
• OpenTable certification is preferred but not required
