Senior Full Stack Engineer - Dashboard & Growth

Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies. We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to work on our client application, by delivering features, improving our codebase, and driving reliability. You will also be responsible for ensuring the technical excellence of your team and owned services, by reviewing code, contributing to architectural designs, writing documentation and mentoring your colleagues.

This is a full-time position based out of our Novi Sad office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.

In our team, you will work on a wide range of experiments focused on Growth and continuously improving the onboarding experience for our customers. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Data teams to design, implement, and analyze A/B tests, turning insights into impactful product iterations.

• TypeScript, React, Java, Postgres, Storybook, Vitest
• Grafana, Bazel, Buildkite, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes

• →Work on core UI features of the product
• →Write APIs and underlying services
• →Investigate bugs, design and implement fixes
• →Own projects completely from the technical design phase to rollout
• →Write and update internal documentation

•  Has strong coding, technical and problem-solving skills with 5+ years of professional experience writing JS or Java applications in production environment
• Writes well-structured JS or Java code following programming best practices
• Works well in a team
• Writes software design documentation for project requirements
• Can troubleshoot problems with existing code
• Optimizes code to make it more performant
• Ensures that accepted coding practices are followed by teammates

• Experience in full stack development
• Experience in distributed systems and high-volume data management platforms that operate under strict SLAs
• Expertise in working with popular Cloud platforms, Cloud-based APIs, databases
• Leadership skills
• Strong product mindset, the ability to move fast while maintaining high engineering standards, and a passion for using data to drive meaningful improvements for users
