Flagright is an AI operating system for financial crime compliance used globally by Fortune 500 companies, large banks, fintechs, and fast-growing financial technology companies. Flagright enables real-time risk detection, automated investigations, and intelligent decisioning, helping compliance teams operate at their full potential in the fight against financial crime.
We operate as a lean, high-performance team with high individual ownership and direct access to leadership.
Our Marketing team drives Flagright’s presence across target markets. From executive engagements to field programs and client facing events, we help financial institutions understand why modern compliance teams operate differently.
We are hiring an Events Lead - APAC to own event strategy and execution across priority APAC markets. This role will be responsible for planning and running high quality regional events, executive dinners, customer roundtables, partner activations, and selective industry gatherings that support enterprise pipeline creation and acceleration.
You will partner closely with Sales, ABM, GTM, Content, and Marketing Ops to ensure APAC events are not standalone activities, but part of a focused commercial motion. The goal is not to run more events. The goal is to get the right people in the room, create useful market moments, and drive measurable account progression.
Events Leads at Flagright are strategic and hands on. You will be expected to travel, manage vendors, coordinate with internal teams, execute high-impact programs, measure outcomes, and continuously improve how we show up in-market.
Have been knocked down before and gotten back up
Are resourceful — they figure things out with whatever tools are available
Have strong opinions and can defend them
Learn fast because they’re hungry
Want to work with no-BS people building something important
Need extensive hand-holding
View high expectations as “unreasonable”
Can’t handle ambiguity or rejection
Prefer consistent routine over fast-changing priorities
I would remove “Actually prioritize work-life balance” from public JDs. If the company insists on keeping the tone consistent, keep it. But I would not recommend it.
Responsibilities
~1 min readOwn the APAC events calendar across executive dinners, customer roundtables, partner events, selective conferences, webinars, and regional activations.
Develop and execute APAC event plans aligned to target segments, priority accounts, regional sales goals, and enterprise pipeline objectives.
Plan, manage, and execute executive dinners, roundtables, sponsored industry gatherings, and private customer/prospect engagements.
Partner with Sales and ABM to define target accounts, invite lists, priority personas, outreach plans, and post-event follow-up motions.
Coordinate tightly with Sales, GTM, ABM, Content, and Marketing Ops on who gets invited, why they are being invited, and what should happen after each event.
Ensure every major event has a clear pre-event plan, during-event execution plan, and post-event progression plan.
Own local vendor relationships, venue sourcing, event logistics, timelines, run-of-show documents, speaker coordination, and guest experience.
Keep event execution polished while staying commercially disciplined about what is worth repeating.
Build repeatable APAC event playbooks that reduce dependency on senior leadership and make regional execution easier to scale.
Travel across APAC where needed to support high-priority events and regional programs.
Support localized event campaigns focused on regional and vertical audiences, especially enterprise financial institutions, fintechs, payments companies, and compliance leaders.
Coordinate event-related email, social, and account-based promotion in partnership with Social, Content, ABM, and Sales.
Create event briefs, internal prep docs, attendee lists, speaker notes, follow-up trackers, and post-event summaries.
Work with Design and Content to ensure event assets, collateral, landing pages, and follow-up materials are high-quality and on-brand.
Track and report APAC event performance, including target-account attendance, meetings booked, event-sourced opportunities, influenced pipeline, follow-up completion, and budget usage.
Feed regional buyer, partner, competitor, and market insights back into campaign planning, content needs, and leadership discussions.
Maintain a clean APAC event operating system: event calendar, vendor list, venue list, budget tracker, campaign folders, and reporting documentation.
Build relationships with relevant APAC ecosystem partners, associations, fintech communities, banking/compliance networks, and event organizers.
Identify event and partnership opportunities that improve access to enterprise buyers, not just general brand visibility.
Support customer advocacy moments, client stories, references, and proof generation through events where relevant.
Help elevate Flagright’s presence in strategic APAC accounts and target industries.
Recommend which APAC events should be repeated, scaled, changed, or cut based on commercial value.
3+ years of B2B events, field marketing, demand marketing, or regional marketing experience, ideally in SaaS, fintech, compliance, payments, banking, risk, or enterprise technology.
Strong project management capability with experience running events and field programs end-to-end.
Experience planning and executing executive dinners, roundtables, customer/prospect events, sponsored gatherings, webinars, or partner activations.
Commercially minded operator who understands that events are measured by account engagement, meetings, pipeline, and deal progression, not just attendance.
Strong communicator who can coordinate across Sales, Marketing, GTM, Content, Design, vendors, partners, and leadership.
Comfortable pushing for clarity on invite lists, target accounts, follow-up ownership, and event success metrics.
Polished enough to represent Flagright in front of customers, prospects, partners, and senior stakeholders.
Detail-oriented without being slow or bureaucratic.
Comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving environment with limited hand-holding.
Based in Singapore with the right to work in Singapore.
Willing and able to travel across APAC as needed.
