A little about us…Fleetio is a modern software platform that helps thousands of organizations worldwide manage their fleet operations. Transportation technology is a hot market, and we’re leading the charge with raving fans and new customers signing up every day. We raised $450M in our Series D funding round in March of 2025 and are on an exciting trajectory as a company. Fleetio is also a proud founding member of the Rails Foundation!

We’re looking for an experienced, creative, and results-driven Event Marketing Manager to own and elevate our tradeshow and event strategy. This role will lead the end-to-end execution of Fleetio’s presence at key industry events, while also stepping in to support high-impact brand moments, such as sponsorship activations and special events.

You’ll sit at the intersection of marketing, sales, and brand, bringing together strategy, storytelling, and flawless execution to drive pipeline, amplify our presence in the fleet industry, and create memorable, high-performing event experiences. Event marketing plays a direct role in pipeline growth and brand visibility and requires strong alignment with demand-generation and sales goals.

You’re an experienced event marketer who knows how to make tradeshows actually drive results, not just show up. You understand how to turn event strategy into real pipeline and meaningful customer engagement.

You’ve run tradeshows end-to-end and are just as comfortable managing logistics as you are analyzing performance and improving what’s next. You see events as part of a bigger journey, not one-off moments.

You’re a strong partner to Sales, highly organized but flexible, and bring both creativity and a focus on what works. You’re excited to raise the bar and build a tradeshow program that truly stands out.

  • You turn tradeshows into a powerful pipeline engine, not just a lead source
  • You become a go-to partner for Sales, aligning on the right accounts and winning together
  • You create booth experiences that draw people in and leave a lasting impression of Fleetio
  • You own the full event lifecycle and make every touchpoint count
  • You build a tradeshow program that’s scalable, repeatable, and constantly improving
  • You use data and Salesforce to clearly show how events drive revenue
  • You bring fresh, creative ideas that help Fleetio stand out in a crowded space
  • You test, learn, and keep raising the bar on what great events look like
  • You turn in-person moments into real relationships that last beyond the event
  • 2+ years in event marketing, field marketing, or tradeshow management (B2B SaaS preferred)
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities at once
  • Clear, effective communicator who can adapt messaging to different audiences and channels
  • Proven ability to own the full event lifecycle from planning through follow-up and ROI
  • Hands-on experience executing tradeshows and sponsorships end-to-end, including logistics, vendors, and onsite execution
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and ability to move quickly and adapt as needed
  • Experience using tools like Salesforce and Asana to manage workflows, track performance, and stay organized, with an openness to leveraging AI to work smarter and scale impact
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%
  • Bonus: Experience in fleet, transportation, construction, or related industries
