To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Direct Buyer located in Zalaegerszeg.
The Direct Buyer will be responsible for for placing purchase orders and maintaining open purchase orderbook based on MRP. Expedites material based on clean to build reports, work with logistics functions to ensure supply chain coverage for various customer programs.
- Follow and stick to the purchasing processes defined in the ERP system
- Order materials needed for the production based on the demands received from Planning and based on purchasing parameters received from NPI buyers
- Document and control the PO confirmations
- Track and control the deliveries from suppliers, check and discuss the delivery discrepancies with the suppliers
- Keep continuous contact with the suppliers and Flex departments
- Blocked invoice handling
- Follow the escalation flow coming from material shortages due to various reasons
- Participate in shortage calls, meetings
- Provide accurate data for shortage reporting on a daily basis
- Arrange and track deliveries of purchase orders based on the instructions of the transport team
- Optimize transportation costs, avoid extra costs
- Optimize raw material inventory
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or logistics
- College/University degree
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- Good communication skills in Hungarian and English
- Logical thinking
- Experience with ERP systems is an advantage
