Operates laboratory equipment and supports day-to-day laboratory processes to ensure reliable radiological gas analysis operations. Performs routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of specialized instrumentation and supporting systems, including gas chromatographs, vacuum systems, pressure measurement equipment, and radiological gas separation and measurement equipment.

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Technical aptitude to operate specialized laboratory and radiological gas analysis equipment.
- Ability to read, follow, and clearly communicate written technical procedures, manuals, and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail with accurate data recording, documentation, and adherence to established methods.
- Organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and maintain throughput across multiple laboratory sections.
- Effective interpersonal skills and teamwork for daily coordination with other laboratory areas and technical staff.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, exercising sound judgment and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Commitment to safety and security requirements, including consistent use of safe work practices and compliance with EHS standards.
