Join Teledyne in a hands-on engineering role where you will take ownership of the mechanical development of high-power radio frequency and microwave amplifier systems. You will work across the full product lifecycle, turning requirements into robust designs and carrying them through analysis, qualification, production release, and sustaining support.

• →Lead mechanical architecture and detailed design of amplifier chassis, enclosures, assemblies, interfaces, and supporting hardware.
• →Develop production-ready SolidWorks models, drawings, configurations, and bills of material.
• →Own thermal designs for power-dense electronics, including forced-air cooling, heatsinks, conduction paths, thermal interfaces, and liquid cooling.
• →Use ANSYS Fluent and ANSYS Mechanical / Workbench to evaluate thermal, structural, vibration, shock, fatigue, and environmental performance.
• →Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and tolerance analysis to critical mechanical interfaces.
• →Design for machining, sheet metal, welding, brazing, assembly, inspection, sealing, and corrosion protection.
• →Translate system requirements into traceable mechanical, thermal, structural, environmental, and verification requirements.
• →Develop and support environmental qualification and verification testing.
• →Lead or support root cause and corrective action, design failure mode and effects analysis, and multidisciplinary failure investigations.
• →Collaborate with engineering teams, manufacturing, suppliers, test laboratories, customers, and program stakeholders.

• Strong mechanical, thermal, and structural design capabilities for complex electromechanical products - required
• Advanced SolidWorks production-design skills and SolidWorks PDM experience - required
• Working proficiency with ANSYS Mechanical / Workbench - required
• Thermal-management experience with heatsinks, forced-air cooling, conduction paths, and electronics packaging - required
• Environmental qualification, manufacturing support, tolerance analysis, and root-cause investigation experience - required
• 7+ years of related product-development experience - required
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering - required
• ANSYS Fluent, high-power radio frequency or microwave hardware, and liquid-cooling experience - preferred
