We are recruiting a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Derby.
As Assistant Store Manager you will support the Store Manager to deliver an outstanding customer experience and drive sales performance. You’ll work closely with the existing store team to coach, motivate and develop colleagues, ensuring team engagement and consistent delivery of our retail standards.
Your role will involve supporting operational activity across the store, leading by example on the shop floor, resolving customer queries and helping to maintain visual merchandising and stock standards. You will be responsible for deputising in the Store Manager’s absence and contributing to shift planning, payroll control and daily financial targets.

About the Role

Coach, mentor and develop Sales Assistants to deliver exceptional service
Lead by example on the shop floor — driving customer engagement, styling and product knowledge
Assist with shift planning, staff rotas and payroll accuracy
Maintain visual merchandising, stock integrity and store presentation
Handle customer feedback and resolve day‑to‑day operational issues
Comply with company policies, loss prevention and health & safety standards
Passionate about fashion retail and our brand ethos
Experience in supervising or leading a retail team, ideally within fashion or streetwear
Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop colleagues
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and managing competing priorities
Confident delivering great customer service and meeting commercial objectives
Organised, numerate and able to support administrative tasks such as stock counts and basic reporting
Flexible to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays on a rotating shift pattern
