Maintenance Technician - Refrigeration

We are currently looking for an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our Salem Production Facility.  

The Refrigeration Tech ensures the safe and appropriate operation of the utility systems and equipment groups that include but are not limited to: Hot Water system, Boilers and Anhydrous Ammonia Refrigeration system, HVAC, and compressed air system.  

General duties include, but are not limited to troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining machinery, electrical/mechanical equipment and computerized systems such as boilers, compressors, cooling towers, evaporative condensers, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, tanks, pumps, conveyor systems and motors in accordance with diagrams, blueprints, operating manuals or manufacturer's specifications.  The position is a member of the HAZWOPER Team.

• →EPA Section 608 Universal Certification
• →Operates and maintains all components and equipment of the utility systems that includes but are not limited to anhydrous ammonia systems, boilers, hot water, HVAC, and compressed air systems.
• →Preform required testing, evaluates operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose cause of malfunctions.  
• →Must become proficient in knowledge and understanding of the P.S.M. program. 
• →Maintains daily log of repairs and submits for record.   
• →Basic computer skills to perform maintenance and repair on computer-controlled machinery.  
• →Ability to communicate effectively with employees, visitors, and contractors.  
• →Submits Preventative Maintenance, calibration, verification, and other such documentation in a timely manner.   
• →Responds to routine and emergency calls for repair and service in a timely, efficient manner.
