The Associate Recruiter will assist in the full-cycle recruitment of hourly positions which includes sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offers, post-offer process (background checks, drug screens, physicals, etc.), on-boarding and retention.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the non-exempt (hourly) recruiting, and training processes which includes sourcing, screening, recruiting, and on-boarding

· Conduct and coordinate pre-employment process (drug screen, background checks, and E-Verify)

· Responsible for ensuring compliance with the overall pre-employment I-9, E-Verify, E-Screen and Background Check compliance process

· Participate in job fairs and community outreach recruiting strategies

· Manage/ensure compliance with Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) and update Personnel Activity Log (PAL)

· Post all hourly open positions internally and externally

· Provide plant tours to interested applicants

· Responsible for onboarding new hires including conducting orientation, review of policies & benefits, administrate Alchemy training, printing employee badges, etc.

· Enter new hire information and maintain Workday (HRIS) system

· Participate in routine walk through of production floor for employee engagement

· Perform other duties as assigned

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

· Knowledge of Affirmative Action Plans and Employment Law

· Workday and Alchemy Manager Training experience a plus!

· Excellent communication, organizational & interpersonal skills

· Ability to conduct interviews and give tours of facility

· Strong presentation skills

Requirements:

· Bilingual English/Spanish

· Computer literate (MS Office: Excel, Word, and Power Point).

· Ability to administer HR processes, policy, and procedures

· Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check etc)

· 1+ years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing or staffing agency

Working Conditions:

General business office environment with open work areas.
