Responsibilities
~1 min readThe Warehouse Manager, responsible for both the Ultium Cells battery material warehouse and the LG Chem resin warehouse, will perform the following duties:
- Oversee and optimize the overall operations of both warehouses (battery materials and resin)
- Manage and improve inbound, outbound, inventory, storage, and shipping processes
- Maintain high inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and physical inventories
- Analyze discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with safety standards for battery materials (including DG) and chemical products (resin)
- Adhere to OSHA and other regulatory requirements, and support internal and external audits
- Communicate with Ultium Cells and LG Chem regarding operational matters
- Collaborate with internal departments such as production, procurement, and transportation
- Manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation
- Develop workforce planning to improve operational efficiency
- Establish and monitor logistics KPIs (inventory accuracy, OTIF, production support rate, etc.)
- Drive continuous improvement based on performance analysis
- Control warehouse operating costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Improve operational efficiency through process enhancements
- Manage WMS and other logistics systems and ensure data accuracy
- Support data-driven decision-making
Requirements
~1 min readThe qualifications for the Warehouse Manager overseeing both the Ultium Cells battery material warehouse and the LG Chem resin warehouse are as follows:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in logistics and warehouse operations
- Proven experience managing multiple warehouses or large-scale distribution centers
- Experience in the battery, chemical, or manufacturing industries preferred
- Strong understanding of overall warehouse operations (WMS, inventory control, inbound and outbound processes)
- Knowledge of the handling and storage of Dangerous Goods (DG) and chemical materials (resin)
- Experience in logistics KPI management and process improvement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of safety regulations such as OSHA
- Experience in compliance with hazardous materials and chemical regulations
- Experience supporting internal and external audits
- Proven experience in team management (hiring, training, and performance evaluation)
- Strong communication skills with multiple stakeholders (customers and internal departments)
- Effective decision-making and issue-resolution capabilities
Requirements

- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics systems
- Experience working in global or overseas environments preferred
The base salary range for this role is between $90,000-$110,000 yearly, and your base salary will depend on your experiences, qualifications, and skills.
