Job Title: Senior QA Engineer Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality of Web and Progressive Web Applications (PWA) within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in functional, regression, and end-to-end testing, along with hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. This role focuses on execution, collaboration, and quality ownership without people-management responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Execute and contribute to QA planning, testing, and delivery for web and PWA-based insurance applications Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and development teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage Design, execute, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test data for functional, regression, integration, UI, and end-to-end testing Validate P&C insurance workflows, including consumer warranty insurance, policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing, and customer portals Perform cross-browser and multi-device testing Execute test cycles, track defects, and ensure timely defect validation and closure Perform root cause analysis and work closely with developers to resolve defects Contribute to test automation efforts and support regression test execution Ensure testing activities comply with regulatory, compliance, and data privacy requirements Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives Provide test execution status, metrics, and quality insights to stakeholders Required Skills & Qualifications 5–10 years of experience in Quality Assurance as an individual contributor Strong experience testing Web and Progressive Web Applications (PWA) Good understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance processes, including policy lifecycle, claims, underwriting, and billing Experience in multi-browser and multi-device testing Proficiency in writing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, Xray, or Azure DevOps Strong experience in defect tracking, root cause analysis, and test closure reporting Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and DevOps practices Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, browser developer tools) Exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar Exposure to AI-powered QA tools (e.g., Testim, AccelQ, Tricentis Tosca with AI features) is a plus Preferred Qualifications Experience in API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools Exposure to performance and security testing concepts and tools ISTQB or equivalent QA certification Prior experience in the insurance or financial services domain Soft Skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to quality excellence
