Responsibilities

Create and develop 3D layouts based on storyboards, concept art, and director/supervisor requirements.
- →
Establish camera composition, framing, lens, perspective, and camera movement.
- →
Set up and position CG characters, environments, props, and other assets within the scene.
- →
Match live-action camera data and solve camera movement where required.
- →
Ensure correct scale, continuity, spatial relationships, and composition between assets.
- →
Work closely with Animation, Modeling, Environment, FX, Lighting, and Compositing teams.
- →
Prepare scenes and shots according to the production pipeline and technical specifications.
- →
Incorporate feedback from the Layout Supervisor, CG Supervisor, Director, and other stakeholders.
- →
Maintain shot continuity across sequences.
- →
Troubleshoot basic scene, camera, and asset-related issues.
- →
Ensure shots are properly organized and handed over to downstream departments.
- →
Minimum 3 years of industry experience.
- →
Strong understanding of camera language, cinematography, composition, perspective, and staging.
- →
Good knowledge of 3D space and visual storytelling.
- →
Proficiency in software such as Maya; knowledge of Houdini, Blender, or other relevant tools can be an advantage.

Understanding of camera tracking and matchmove principles.
- →
Ability to interpret storyboards and translate 2D references into 3D scenes.
- →
Good understanding of VFX production pipelines.
- →
Strong attention to detail and continuity.
- →
Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple shots/sequences.
- →
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- →
Ability to understand and implement Supervisor/Director feedback accurately.
- →
Good communication and collaboration skills.
- →
Ability to work efficiently under tight production deadlines.
- →
Knowledge of Python or scripting would be an added advantage.

Experience working with ShotGrid, ftrack, or similar production-management tools would be
