Be the one building AI-powered experiences where they matter most.

At Genesys, we help organizations create better customer experiences through AI-powered experience orchestration. Our platform connects people, systems, data and AI to help organizations deliver more personalized service, improve operational efficiency and build stronger customer relationships.

Help build, support and operate technology used by more than 8,000 organizations in over 100 countries – moving AI from possibility to production in real-world enterprise environments every day.

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join the Journey Data team at Genesys.

You will be responsible for helping to build out the Genesys Cloud’s Event Data Platform, a key pillar for Agentic Orchestration in Genesys.

You will work closely with a team of engineers and product managers to ideate, build, operate, and scale customer-facing features across the full software development lifecycle.

You will get the opportunity to work with exciting technologies like Amazon Web Services (cloud computing), Jenkins (CI/CD), New Relic & Sumo Logic (monitoring/telemetry), and a wide array of proprietary Genesys software.

You will be part of our transition into an AI-assisted world, helping us adopt and develop new AI tooling like Skills, Agents, and MCPs to redefine the way we work, deliver software, and bring intelligence into our products.

Our team is key contributor to the Event Data Platform, mainly centred around Customer Journey.

Some of our key focus areas include Customer Segmentation – grouping customers by shared attributes and behaviours to provide context and enrichment for personalisation across both traditional and agentic orchestration, and Predictive Engagement – proactively engaging with web and mobile visitors to provide assistance at critical points in their customer journey.
