Logistics Coordinator

Location: Rijswijk, Netherlands.

Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 9:00-17:30)

1. →Shipment Monitoring:
   • →Track and monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery. 
   • →Communicate with carriers and internal stakeholders to resolve shipment-related issues or delays. 
2. →System Inbound & Outbound:
   • →Process incoming shipments using computer systems and software, updating shipment records and generating accurate documentation.
   • →Complete packing tasks in the system based on SOPs and commercial requests, meticulously validating all shipping labels and export paperwork.
   • →Proactively monitor and manage daily transportation movements, ensuring timely response to any deviations or disruptions.
3. →Physical Packing:
   • →Package and prepare goods for shipment following established guidelines.
   • →Handle, sort, and organize goods within the warehouse or packing area.
   • →Lift and move packages of varying weights (typically 0.5–25 kg, average ~6 kg). 
   • →Ensure compliance with EHS and safety requirements during all handling activities. 
4. →Logistics Invoice & Purchasing:
   • →Review and submit logistics invoices (transportation, services, customs clearance, etc.) for timely payment. 
   • →Monitor warehouse consumables and coordinate with procurement to complete purchasing tasks. 
5. →Task Assignment & Support:
   • →Execute tasks delegated by the supervisor and adapt to changing priorities. 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Additional certifications or training in logistics or supply chain management are a plus. 
• Prior experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or related fields is preferred. 
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software for inventory management and shipment tracking. 
  
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move packages of varying sizes and weights (up to 20 kg). 
• Fluent in English.
