We are looking for a full-time Embedded Software Engineer in Jessup, PA.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop embedded systems using existing AssetLink custom hardware designs and proprietary AssetLink ‘Coconut’, ‘AP’, and ‘Vulcan’ firmware/software ecosystem, for consumer and industrial electronics developed for custom AssetLink solutions.
Knowledge of AssetLink’s custom scripting languages and custom architectures, in order to train and support both new and existing AssetLink employees.
Write and optimize firmware for AssetLink-developed microcontrollers and processors using internal scripting and software languages.
Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate custom software and hardware components.
Conduct system testing and debugging based on knowledge of system functionality to ensure reliability and performance.
Develop and maintain documentation for proprietary embedded system designs, integrating hardware, firmware, software, and custom-built cloud computing systems on bare metal servers.
Train and supervise technicians for testing and monitoring of AssetLink solutions and integrated devices.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
3 years (36 months) of experience as an electrical and embedded engineer working on battery remote devices
