Responsibilities include maintenance activities for continuous operation of single/multiple facilities and all equipment contained within these facilities.

Help to maintain a clean and friendly environment for all members, guests and employees in both Gold’s Gym Dutchess County locations.
Perform repair and scheduled preventative maintenance on all cardiovascular and strength equipment, per their schedules as well as any immediate repair needed.
Perform general repair and maintenance duties in regard to carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical and HV/AC systems. Assist employees in any of the above areas (considering magnitude of the job) under the direction of the Club Manager.
Turn in a complete notification of all work finished daily.
Check electrical systems such as steam and sauna units, televisions, music system, lighting and A/C units and make repairs if necessary.
Check and make repairs on general plumbing systems, fixtures, toilets, and sinks.
Painting and finishing of furniture and structure as needed.
Performs preventative maintenance on plumbing and electrical systems.

This experienced individual must possess a demonstrated ability to do basic carpentry and mechanical repair skills, good interpersonal qualities and communication skills, and 1 year of business experience; fitness industry preferred. Must also be able to understand equipment operation.
