Senior Civil Engineer

GHD’s expanding Wide Bay operations present an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to lead key projects and foster business development by building strong client partnerships. The role can be based in either Bundaberg or Hervey Bay.

• Technical, hands-on delivery on roads, stormwater, urban development, and other civil infrastructure projects in the region for public and private clients.
• Leading and working as part of a team on projects from conception, including design, management, site works, and construction surveillance.

• Engineering Degree (Civil) with Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) status.
• Demonstrate a proactive, client-centric approach, actively contributing to business growth by identifying opportunities with both new and existing clients.
• Exhibit robust project management capabilities, confidently serving as the technical lead across diverse projects.
• Extensive experience in the design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, stormwater, urban development, water/wastewater systems).
• Proficiency in civil engineering software such as 12d, CIRCLY, DRAINS, MUSIC.
• Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
