We’re seeking a Senior Civil Engineer (or at the Technical Director / Principal Engineer level) to join our Water Group, based in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, or Gold Coast. You’ll play a pivotal role in the technical delivery of water and wastewater system solutions, collaborating with passionate and high-performing teams.
- Lead and contribute to the civil design of water and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, and treatment plant civil works.
- Prepare and review technical documentation across concept, preliminary, and detailed design phases.
- Provide input across the full project lifecycle—from planning and feasibility to detailed design, construction and commissioning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Apply relevant design standards and use tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, 12d, and WSAA guidelines.
Responsibilities

- →RPEQ status or ability to obtain.
- →8+ years’ experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design, ideally within a consultancy environment.
- →Demonstrated experience delivering hydraulic and transient designs for treatment plants (water and wastewater) and linear infrastructure.
- →Strong technical and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and client-focused approach.
