Responsibilities

• →Administer the privacy program at GHD
• →Review and assess GHD’s processing activities
• →Advise cross-functional groups (including People, Information Services, and Project teams) on compliance with global data protection regulation
• →Collaborate with GHD’s regional legal teams to improve compliance
• →Draft and review privacy notices and other compliance documentation
• →Implement and maintain GHD’s Record of Processing Activities
• →Draft, review and advise on data processing agreements, including the incorporation of international transfer mechanisms
• →Spot and assess data protection risks and other related risks at GHD
• →Drive process improvements at GHD to improve compliance while also considering competing objectives of all stakeholders involved
• →Manage and respond to data subject rights requests and enquiries
• →Respond to and assess personal data breaches

Required

• →Admitted to practice law in a jurisdiction in which GHD operates
• →A proven track record of advising on and implementing global data protection regulations
• →A proactive mindset and ability to problem solve
• →Ability to work in complex, fast-moving environments

Highly desirable

• →A technical background in cyber security or another IT discipline
• →Experience in other technology compliance areas like artificial intelligence, critical infrastructure and cyber security
• →Experience working across multiple jurisdictions
