Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to lead the end-to-end lifecycle of our site development projects. You will be responsible for everything from initial site feasibility and structural design to overseeing on-site construction and ensuring all local regulatory codes are met. The ideal candidate has a "builder" mindset and is comfortable transitioning between a CAD workstation and a construction site.

Responsibilities

→Develop detailed site layouts, including grading plans, drainage systems, utility routing, and structural foundations.
→Conduct site assessments, geotechnical reviews, and environmental impact studies to determine project viability.
→Navigate local zoning laws and building codes; manage the permitting process with municipal and state agencies.
→Create and maintain project schedules and budgets; manage sub-contractors and vendors to ensure high-quality execution.
→Design or review structural calculations for specialized equipment housing (e.g., pads for cooling units, heavy electrical infrastructure).
→Perform regular site inspections to ensure construction aligns with engineering specifications and safety standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
License is strongly preferred (or the ability to obtain one within 6 months).
5–8 years of experience in land development, industrial construction, or data center infrastructure.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, or similar BIM software.
Strong understanding of hydrology, soil mechanics, and reinforced concrete design.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with critical infrastructure requirements (Power, Cooling, and Fiber connectivity).
Exceptional communication skills for liaising with stakeholders and government officials.
