Requirements
~1 min read- A University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

- Six Sigma green belt or equivalent
- Experience working with nickel alloys and single crystal casting process
- Experience with Pratt & Whitney’s Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Fluency in product and tooling electronic definition interpretation
- Implement, maintain and monitor tooling for cast/core products and designing/monitoring associated quality assurance/control measures

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Evaluate manufacturing processes and hardware to determine compliance to applicable requirements
- →Support day to day manufacturing activities such as development and release of inspection processes/techniques
- →Procure and maintain inspection tooling and equipment
- →Support shop non-compliance investigations to determine root cause, identifying robust corrective actions and tracking effectiveness
- →Support preparation efforts for internal/external quality audits
- →Develop and deploy standardized quality engineering practices, processes, tools, and methods
- →Use Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement tools to develop and prioritize ideas for, and lead execution of, process improvement projects to reduce process variation, increase throughput, and improve part quality
- →Develop ideas, secure funding, and execute capital equipment projects to improve process capability
