  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
  • 4+ years of prior leadership experience in manufacturing or operations.
  • 2+ years of experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS) such as AS9100, ISO 9001, or equivalent.
  • Experience in utilizing ERP systems for manufacturing transactions and data accuracy.

  • Lean or Six Sigma certifications.
  • Experience in manufacturing within AS9100-controlled environments.
  • Background in wire harness manufacturing, including IPC/WHMA-A-620 and/or IPC J-Std-001 certifications.

As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will be accountable for overseeing manufacturing operations at our Simpsonville, SC location. You will lead efforts to produce high-quality products efficiently while driving safety, quality improvement, and operational excellence. This role is critical to ensuring alignment with business strategies and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.


 

Responsibilities

  • →Manage daily manufacturing operations to ensure timely production of quality products at the lowest cost consistent with quality requirements.
  • →Deploy manufacturing policies aligned with the site’s business strategy and annual operating plan.
  • →Execute daily Lean management systems, including tiered accountability meetings, visual management systems, and leader standard work.
  • →Drive accountability to daily results and implement rapid corrective actions to address operational challenges.
  • →Oversee training and development of approximately 200 direct and indirect reports to meet business needs.
  • →Champion safety initiatives, quality improvement efforts, and CORE programs across all manufacturing areas.
  • →Standardize best practices through tools such as job instructions, job breakdown sheets, pre- and post-flight checklists, multi-cycle analysis, and layered audits.
  • →Foster a strong problem-solving culture using CORE methods and coaching behaviors.
  • →Ensure accurate and timely execution of manufacturing transactions in the Epicor ERP system to maintain data integrity.
  • →Collaborate with planning and logistics teams to optimize scheduling and materials flow, reduce work-in-progress inventory, and improve delivery performance.
  • →Travel up to 25%.
