Repair Process Engineer, Connecticut Stators & Components (Onsite)

Requirements
~2 min read- Advanced Degree and 3+ years of experience in Engineering, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Military, Aftermarket or Aviation industry; OR Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant industry experience; OR Associate's degree and 7+ years of relevant industry experience. OR 9+ years of hands-on relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years’ experience within a manufacturing environment is required
- Strong analytical and engineering problem‑solving skills with the ability to break down complex process and equipment issues.
- Comfortable working on the shop floor, engaging directly with equipment, operators, and technical stakeholders.
- University degree ideally in Engineering. Mechanical or Quality Engineering preferred
- Familiarity of aerospace gas turbine engines, engine overhaul and part repair processes
- Knowledge of FAA Part 145, EASA, AS9110, and other relevant regulatory frameworks
- Previous industry experience with one or more of the following special processes: Brazing/Heat Treating, Peening, Waterjet, or Thermal Spray.
- Proactive, organized, and able to lead cross-functional teams and manage quality clinics or other projects effectively
- Root Cause and Corrective Action experience (QCPC, RCCA Red-X, Fault Tree, etc.)
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies (CORE/ACE/SixSigma, etc.), and basic statistical tools
- Working knowledge of Pratt & Whitney shop practices & processes, quality standards, and inspections methods & tools
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP ERP, Solumina MES, NX, AutoCAD, and Teamcenter is preferred
- Comfortable working on the shop floor and collaborating with a wide range of people.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to break down complex issues.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Support day-to-day manufacturing operations, troubleshooting process issues as they come up.
- →Develop, refine, and document processes to improve quality, repeatability, and throughput.
- →Work closely with inspectors, operators, quality engineers, and other cross-functional partners to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.
- →Collect and analyze data to understand trends and recommend changes.
- →Participate in root-cause investigations and help implement corrective and preventive actions.
- →Support new product introductions and process changes, ensuring smooth integration into production.
- →Support industrialization and qualification of new machines and technologies, including equipment commissioning, process validation, and capability studies.

- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
