Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
Experience with C/C++ programming languages.
Experience with Python scripting.
Experience with Agile Development Framework (Scrum, Sprints, etc.).

Strong written and oral communication skills.
Experience with Graphical User Interface (GUI) design/implementation.
Experience with C# programming language.
Familiarity with migrating an application between OS and HW architectures.
Earned Value Management experience.

Responsibilities

→Design, develop, and test applications to simulate the behavior of avionics sensors to support the development and testing of Collins Avionics products.
→Aid the development team in the debugging of laboratory issues to determine root cause and propose potential solutions to the discovered problems.
→Effectively interacts and networks with teammates, management, and customers.
→Support the Program Lead(s) with budget and schedule data for the CSE work on a given program to help ensure the successful completion of a Collins Avionics program.
→Work with a team of dedicated engineers to help shape the future of the avionics simulation platform.
→5-10% travel as needed.
