Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.

  • 1+ years of experience with RF testing equipment.

  • 2+ years of experience troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical and/or mechanical issues.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  • Experience preparing and executing procedures.

  • Experience troubleshooting systems using general test equipment.

  • Familiarity with National Instruments (NI) software tools, such as LabVIEW, TestStand, and NI MAX.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

In this role, you will support the 2nd shift production floor of CCM High Mix area in a test engineering capacity. This includes, but is not limited to, training test operators, troubleshooting test equipment and production hardware, and analyzing systemic production failures.

Responsibilities

    Interact with Test Operators, Quality Engineering, Process Engineering, and operations staff to support production testing, requiring effective organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

    Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to support production testing.

    Assist with troubleshooting failures on CCAs by performing data analysis and visual inspections.

  • →

    Identify trends in defects and collaborate with the appropriate teams to resolve issues in a timely manner to prevent future build process defects.

  • →

    Support test equipment coordination between internal customers.

  • Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
