→Assist with the preparation of cost segregation studies, including the classification of building components into appropriate asset categories.
→Analyze fixed asset data, construction cost records, and architectural/engineering drawings.
→Support the calculation of depreciation deductions under U.S. tax law, including MACRS, ADS, and bonus depreciation.
→Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and project documentation.
→Conduct data entry, reconciliation, and quality control for client deliverables.
→Collaborate with engineering, tax, and consulting team members to ensure accurate and timely project completion.
→Participate in ongoing training to develop expertise in U.S. tax depreciation, construction methodologies, and cost segregation standards.
→Provide data entry and analytical support for other service lines as needed, such as Research & Development (R&D) Tax Credit studies.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or any relevant field
Must have knowledge of US tax concepts related to fixed assets, depreciation, and real estate
Proficient with US measurement systems (imperial units) and basic construction cost estimating
Knowledge of IRS depreciation rules, MACRS/ADS, and bonus depreciation.
Exposure to cost segregation or fixed asset consulting
Experience working with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, STACK, or other plan-reading/measurement software
Familiarity with construction terminology and methods
Ability to read and interpret building plans, drawings, and specifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard office applications.
Amenable to work in a Hybrid set-up
Willing to work the night shift
