This position is responsible for coordination of all operational aspects, including sales within the GNC Corporate Campus Store. When not in the store the Field Operations Coordinator will be responsible for successfully supporting various programs and activities that pertain to all store initiatives, such as operational systems, projects, and launches. The role also serves as point person when reaching out to stores via phone to troubleshoot issues.

 

Responsibilities

  • →Ensure adherence to all corporate visual, marketing, and operational standards across functional areas, including the sales floor, stockroom, and visual storage locations.
  • →Monitor and uphold store inventory levels in accordance with established loss prevention and inventory management protocols, including oversight of shipment receipts, transfers, and related processes.
  • →Conduct testing on updated pricing and promotions to ensure timely implementation across the corporate fleet.
  • →Responsible for maintaining a functional store that includes the sales floor and backroom along with all store technology
  • →Supports collaborative conversations with cross-functional partners on executing primary work streams; enables and executes development and implementation of project plans, timelines and communication.
  • →Supports content development for field-facing communications, tools and resources for new and upcoming operational initiatives or pilots, including providing subject matter expertise on topics related to store operations.
  • →Works cross-functionally to develop verification of merchandising and marketing initiatives as they become effective in stores
  • →Acts as an active contributor to GNC’s video communication platform (GNC TV), providing on-screen talent, brainstorming concepts and ideas to effectively communicate day-to-day initiatives and information.
  • →Supports all content including but not limited to: Register Success Key, Self CPA, operational surveys, sales reporting, and SOPs.
  • →Daily tracking and reporting for cross-functional visibility into key store updates in status and KPIs as needed
  • →Effectively identifies, organizes and follows up on active and pending Omnichannel status updates
  • →Follows up on fulfillment of orders, store issues, inventory, and clienteling activities via phone calls to stores.
  • →Reviews and analyzes key performance indicators related to stores to sustain and improve processes, including on-going updates to trackable templates in support of field leadership visibility into performance.
  • →Liaison with external clienteling vendor, identifying opportunities for improvement and ways to maximize sales.
  • →Supports revenue-driving field events both inside the store and outside of the store.
  • →Additional duties as assigned.
  • →Responsible for supervising multiple projects
  • →Provides guidance and support for interns and new team members
  • Hybrid work environment, 4 days in-person attendance (Pittsburgh, PA) in addition to ability to work remotely.
  • Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands or fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
  • Regularly/Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually low/moderate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required
  • 1+ years of retail management experience preferred
  • High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook, Internet applications & Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong analytical, prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and Senior Management
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to work overtime as necessary
