Manual Lathe Machinist

• →Operate manual machines to cut, shape, and finish parts to specified dimensions.
• →Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain precision and quality.
• →Perform turning, facing, drilling, and other machining operations.
• →Ability to read and interpret blueprints or engineering drawings.
• →Take precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
• →Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• →Plans a proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.
• →Select and install appropriate tooling and work holding devices for each job, ensuring they are securely and accurately positioned.
• →Monitors production adjusts feeds& speeds and other settings as necessary.
• →Checks output for quality assurance
• →Maintains a safe and clean workstation.
• →Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• →Other duties as assigned.
• →Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive team attitude.
• →Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others.
• →Compliance with all safety rules and guidelines.
• →Consistently adhere to assigned work schedule, ensuring punctuality and reliability.

• Excellent coordination and mechanical skills
• Four jaw chuck experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety
• Proficient in math
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
