Responsibilities
~2 min readAs a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will spearhead our project management activities. You will manage the efficient delivery of technical programs, making sure our projects are carried out successfully and achieve the highest standards. Your role is essential in pushing our mission ahead by:
- →Leading and coordinating multiple workstreams across product engineering, legal, and enterprise customer commitments.
- →Driving execution of the program layer for cloud environment security efforts, including control rollout, remediation SLAs, and audit readiness.
- →Building mechanisms for seamless execution such as product-style intake, prioritization frameworks, and launch readiness reviews.
- →Partnering with engineering, product, and program management collaborators to evaluate and prioritize incoming requirements, lead successful launches, and ensure smooth deprecation of prior tooling.
- →Following architecture reviews, build documents, and post-incident debriefs attentively enough to ask informed questions and track action items — hands-on code review isn’t encouraged.
- →Possessing a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts (especially AWS) to communicate effectively with engineering and security teams regarding tradeoffs and risk.
- →Maintaining clear program-level dashboards and status reports, including Red/Amber/Green health indicators, shared weekly or biweekly with senior leadership and collaborators. Working closely with engineering and security teams for deeper SIEM or SLO analysis when required.
- →Ensuring regular communication through status updates and emails, and setting up a consistent cadence with collaborators for progress reviews, intake requests, and other check-ins.
- →Leading scrum ceremonies for the team(s), and crafting or optimizing processes as needs evolve.
- →Guiding the team toward better practices and establishing new ones where gaps exist.
- 6+ years of technical project/program management experience, with 2–5 years of exposure to security, cloud, or infrastructure environments preferred.
- Direct accountability for programs spanning multiple related engineering teams, reporting to a Senior Engineering Manager.
- Expert-level proficiency in PgM/PM tools such as Jira, Confluence, and similar platforms.
- Experience in shipping products, including GA achievements, launch readiness, and post-launch operations.
- Working familiarity with cloud security posture management, Kubernetes runtime security, security data pipelines/SIEM, and security automation/SOAR — enough to speak the team’s language across most of these.
- Ability to interpret system build documents and pose informed questions regarding latency, efficiency, cost, and failure modes in distributed systems.
- Familiarity with how ML or LLM-integrated products are built and evaluated, with enough judgment to help assess GA readiness alongside engineering.
- Proven history of developing lasting program frameworks and excellent written communication abilities.
- A computer science degree or comparable background in the industry.
- Preferable: prior individual contributor (IC) engineering experience (software, security, data, or SRE), or comfort reading code in modern languages like Python, Go, or Java.
- Direct experience with major SIEM and SOAR platforms, cloud provider security services, or Kubernetes-native security tooling.
- Experience running Sev 1 or Sev 2 incident coordination.
- Prior work on data protection, privacy, or DLP programs.
We encourage you to apply even if your experience or skillset doesn’t align perfectly with every requirement. We value a wide range of backgrounds and transferable skills, and we are excited to support learning and growth.
