• Engagement involves testing a CAA-based application developed for a South Korean automotive OEM.
• Opportunity to work directly with the client development team.
• Strong ownership, technical precision, and attention to detail are critical for success.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute structured test cases for CAA-based applications developed on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
• Validate electrical design automation workflows including circuit diagram generation, 3D modeling, and 2D drafting within CATIA.
• Perform regression testing across software releases to ensure existing functionality remains unaffected.
• Verify geometric outputs, property assignments, BOM data, and design data consistency across 3DX environments.
• Log, reproduce, prioritize, and track defects through resolution using JIRA, Excel, or equivalent tools.
• Generate detailed test reports summarizing test coverage, pass/fail status, and outstanding issues.
• Conduct cross-environment validation across different 3DEXPERIENCE configurations and user roles.
• Collaborate closely with CAA developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
• Participate in client review meetings and communicate testing status and findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of total experience.
• Minimum 3 years of CATIA / 3DEXPERIENCE testing or validation experience.
• Hands-on experience with 3DEXPERIENCE platform, VPM, ENOVIA, or similar environments.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6, including CATIA Electrical, 3D Modelling, and 2D Drafting.
• Understanding of electrical wiring harness design including connectors, bundles, routing, and flattening.
• Familiarity with CAA architecture and CATIA plugin integration.
• Experience in defect lifecycle management and test documentation.
• Basic scripting knowledge in Python, VB, or CATIA Macros preferred.
• Experience with automotive OEM or Tier-1 supplier environments preferred.
• Prior experience testing CAA applications is highly desirable.
