Senior Frontend Developer

As a Senior Frontend Developer at Gong, you'll lead the development of intuitive and scalable applications, collaborate closely with diverse teams, drive impactful and shape cutting-edge SaaS solutions in our innovative, fast-paced environment.

• The Full Feature Lifecycle: Taking accountability for your features from the initial ideation and wireframing phases—collaborating closely with Product and UX—all the way to production.
• Architectural Voice: Participating in our "Architecture Huddles," where you will directly influence the future of our codebase and define the engineering best practices for the entire team.
• Your Professional Growth: Utilizing dedicated learning time and attending professional workshops and lectures provided by Gong to continuously sharpen your technical edge.

• Multilayered Technical Challenges: Tackling complex issues across architecture, code, and product, ensuring your solutions balance immediate "must-haves" with long-term system health.
• The Innovation vs. Practicality Gap: Delivering creative, cutting-edge frontend solutions that remain grounded in practicality and high performance for end-users.

• Gong’s Frontend Community: A key contributor to the Frontend Guild, where you will exchange knowledge and set standards with developers across the company.
• Product Transformation: Translating high-level company vision into a robust, high-performance product that defines the Revenue AI category.
• Technical Excellence: Raising the bar for SaaS development by contributing to a team culture that prioritizes solid, scalable code and seamless user experiences.

• Have 5+ years of industry experience developing web applications.
• Enjoy taking responsibility and having a strong sense of ownership over the product you help create.
• Understand JavaScript in depth.
• Have strong experience with React (must-have).
• Are familiar with backend languages such as Java, Node.js, C#, or others (an advantage).
• Have experience building large-scale, cloud-based web applications.
• Proven experience in designing architecture for systems and components.
• Hold (preferably) a degree in computer science or a related field.
• Communicate effectively and work well in a team, with strong verbal and written English skills.
• Enjoy working both independently and within a team of highly skilled peers.
