Senior Software Engineer (Payments), Frontend

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join the payments team at GoodLeap. In this role, you’ll help design, build, and scale customer-facing payment products, ensuring they are secure, reliable, and performant. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver seamless payments experiences that power every transaction. 5+ years of front-end software development experience using TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS, building scalable and maintainable user interfaces.

Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and third-party services (e.g., Stripe or other payment platforms), with an understanding of secure data handling in financial applications.

Strong ability to design and implement performant, scalable, and resilient frontend architectures in complex, production environments.

Experience working in cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS) and collaborating with backend systems built on microservices architectures.

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with a passion for clean code, continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality user experiences.

Experience in FinTech or other highly regulated industries.

Previous work with real-time payment processing systems.
