The Sr. Lead – Assembly, is responsible for driving daily execution of production across Flow and Flex product lines ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery targets are consistently achieved. This role leads frontline teams, removes production barriers, and drives accountability for performance, while serving as the key link between operations and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • →Production Execution
    • →Own daily execution of the production schedule to meet output and delivery targets
    • →Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment to maximize throughput and efficiency
    • →Troubleshoot production issues and implement immediate corrective actions
    • →Support equipment setup, changeovers, and uptime performance
  • →Leadership & Team Development
    • →Lead, coach, and develop team members to meet performance expectations
    • →Hold employees accountable to safety, quality, and productivity standards
    • →Support performance management, including evaluations and timecard approvals
    • →Reinforce a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • →Safety & Quality
    • →Ensure adherence to all quality standards, work instructions, and customer requirements
    • →Drive immediate resolution of quality issues to minimize scrap and rework
    • →Enforce safety standards and actively support HSEQ initiatives
    • →Own and reinforce Brief/Debrief & WorkSafe Card engagement
  • →Continuous Improvement & Operations
    • →Identify and drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
    • →Analyze production data to identify trends and performance gaps
    • →Maintain clear communication with leadership and cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • Education:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical certification, vocational training, or associate degree in Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 3–5+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • 1–3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supervising teams and coordinating cross-functional activities.
  • Strong background in production scheduling, material handling, and inventory control.
  • Experience operating manufacturing and specialty equipment.
  • Experience analyzing production data and implementing process improvements.
  • Background in quality control and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to step into hands-on production roles when required.
  • Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (including over-communication when necessary).
  • Active listening skills.
  • Emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting ability.
