Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Support company secretarial and corporate governance activities across multiple jurisdictions.
- →Coordinate board and committee calendars, meetings, deadlines, and communications with directors and internal teams.
- →Assist with preparing agendas, board materials, meeting packs, minutes, and routine board resolutions.
- →Coordinate in-person and virtual board meetings, including scheduling and meeting technology.
- →Maintain accurate board, committee, statutory, and corporate records while ensuring confidentiality.
- →Assist with corporate filings and the maintenance of statutory registers, certificates, and governance documentation.
- →Track meeting action items and support timely completion of governance requirements.
- →Develop knowledge of applicable company law, governance codes, regulations, and jurisdictional requirements.
- →Monitor governance and regulatory developments with guidance from senior team members.
- →Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Operations, and other teams to support efficient handling of governance matters.
- 1+ years of experience in company secretarial, corporate governance, compliance, legal, or related administrative work; internship or placement experience may be considered.
- Studying toward, or interested in pursuing, CGI (Chartered Governance Institute) studies or another relevant governance qualification.
- Basic understanding of corporate governance principles and company law, with a strong willingness to learn and develop technical expertise.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
