Do you live for the science of weather but also love the art of digital storytelling? We're looking for a Meteorologist who can forecast with precision, deliver clear, concise weather segments in linear newscasts, create a high-energy, daily weather show on our primary streaming channel, and engage viewers on web and social media. This isn't just about reading a map; it's about owning the screen—whether it's a 65-inch TV in a living room or a 6-inch phone in someone's hand. If you're ready to lead the charge in how Vermont, New York, and New Hampshire experience the weather across every platform, we want to talk to you.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Forecast with precision: Deliver accurate, high-stakes forecasts for a topographically complex three-state region (Vermont, New York's North Country, and New Hampshire) where the weather changes as fast as the headlines.
- Create compelling visuals: Use The Weather Company Max systems to build creative, data-driven graphics that tell a visual story, not just show the current temperature.
- Step into the spotlight: Provide high-quality on-air delivery for our weekday noon newscast, and fill-in for our weekday morning meteorologist, maintaining a professional and authoritative presence that our viewers trust.
- Go live in the field: Take the weather story to the streets, covering community and weather events live from the elements and from our StreetView3 weather vehicle.
- Own the stream: Produce and host a daily, interactive weather show on our primary streaming channel, making complex science accessible and engaging for a digital audience.
- Craft digital content: Create "must-click" weather stories and social media updates that stop the scroll and keep our community informed on hard deadlines.
- Collaborate across platforms: Work seamlessly with the news and digital teams to ensure our weather coverage is cohesive, urgent, and first.
