About the Role
~1 min read- We are looking for a Full Time Surgery Scheduler to join our team
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Verifying patient eligibility and coverage
- →Scheduling surgeries, hospital procedures, and pre/post-op appointments
- →Discussing preoperative instructions with the patient, as directed by the physicians
- →Obtaining all requested medical clearances, preoperative testing, lab and EKG results as indicated
- →Additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED certificate, college (Preferred)
Requirements
~1 min read- Ability to preform multiple and diverse tasks with frequent interruption
- Working knowledge of medical insurances
- 1 year experience with physician group practice preferred
- EHR/EMR experience
- Experience as an MA, LPN, or RN a plus
