The HR Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals. The role supports managers in driving performance, engagement, workforce planning, and talent development while ensuring full compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.

This position requires a strong understanding of local employment law and the ability to independently manage complex employee relations matters.

This is a hybrid role that requires 3 days per week onsite.

 

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders to understand business objectives and translate them into actionable HR strategies
  • Provide expert advice on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers on people-related matters
  • Provide expert guidance on local employment law and ensure full legal compliance
  • Manage complex employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinary actions, grievances, and terminations
  • Partner with Legal on high-risk or sensitive cases when required
  • Mitigate organizational risk through proactive policy application and sound judgment
  • Lead performance management cycles and calibration discussions
  • Support succession planning and talent development initiatives
  • Coach managers on feedback, performance improvement plans, and leadership capability

  • Support restructures and organizational changes
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and culture-building activities
  • Facilitate smooth implementation of HR policies and processes                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             
  • In collaboration with Finance and external payroll provider, prepare and submit monthly payroll
  • Ensure implementation of digital card system in compliance with local regulations
  • Hands on approach with employee lifecycle operations in collaboration with the existing HR Team (e.g onboarding, offboarding, exit interviews, title changes, management of HRIS and internal files etc.)
  • Run monthly reports as needed (e.g performance reviews, system quality checks, absence management reports etc)

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of previous experience in a Business Partner or equivalent advisory role
  • Strong, hands-on knowledge of local employment law
  • Proven experience independently managing employee relations cases
  • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
