Scrum Master

Guidepoint Engineering seeks an experienced Scrum Master as an integral member of the Toronto-based Technology Hub. The Toronto Hub will serve as the base of our new Data/AI team, dedicated to building a modern data infrastructure for advanced analytics and the development of responsible AI. This strategic investment is integral to Guidepoint’s vision for the future, aiming to develop cutting-edge Generative AI and analytical capabilities that will underpin Guidepoint’s Next-Gen research enablement platform and data products.

• →8+ years’ experience in a Scrum Master role with strong knowledge in Agile principles and practices. Scrum master certification is a plus.
• →Experience being scrum master for multiple globally distributed teams.
• →Expert knowledgeable of Jira and Confluence, required.
• →Working knowledge of OKRs and its implementation in Jira.
• →Capable of motivating teams to take ownership of their processes.
• →Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to interact at all levels within a global and diverse organization.
• →Comfortable and composed working in a high-pressure environment to meet deadlines.
• →Strong drive for results, resourceful with ability to prioritize and work independently or in groups.
• →Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• →Consensus building and negotiating skills.
