Requirements

- Able to work regularly in person at our Pearl City office by the position’s start date.
Raynor Hawaii Overhead Doors is looking for an outgoing, detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist responsible for purchasing materials, coordinating shipments, managing vendor relationships, and supporting inventory and logistics operations.
This role works closely with Sales, Operations, Warehouse, Accounting, vendors, and freight partners to ensure materials are ordered, shipped, and received accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Create and process purchase orders using the ServiceTitan Purchasing Module.
- →Support the company’s transition to virtual inventory later this year.
- →Develop and maintain purchasing procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in collaboration with Operations and Raynor in Dixon, Illinois.
- →Submit approved purchase orders and monitor order status through delivery.
- →Review and distribute order acknowledgements (OAs), ensuring accuracy.
- →Coordinate Raynor container shipments by correctly assigning unit counts, as trained, to ensure each container reaches full capacity.
- →Coordinate with Pacific Transport for container delivery to Raynor Manufacturing and shipment to Oahu. Track delivery times and keep the team informed.
- →Arrange container hauling to and from docks on Oahu.
- →Manage all loose, non-Raynor door and parts shipments, including obtaining freight quotes, scheduling, tracking, and communicating updates.
- →Prepare and distribute container reports, manifests, and shipment updates.
- →Resolve shortages, discrepancies, and warranty claims.
- →Review receiving documentation and assist with verifying shipments against purchase orders.
- →Work with warehouse personnel to fulfill inventory replenishment requests.
- →Review purchase order invoices for accuracy before payment.
- →Build and maintain strong vendor relationships while communicating effectively with internal departments throughout the purchasing process.
