Senior PLM Systems Administrator

• →Serve as global PTC Windchill system administrator and subject-matter expert, including security, workflow configuration, lifecycle management, platform upgrades, testing activities, validation efforts, and deployment planning
• →Own administration of users, roles ,permissions, licenses, products, libraries, workflows, lifecycles, object types, attributes, numbering, versioning, and related business rules.
• →Govern WTPart, product structures, EBOM and MBOM, engineering documentation, revision control, and engineering change management processes.
• →Lead collaboration with external vendors and partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and IT to translate approved business requirements into scalable PLM configurations and solutions, resolve technical issues, manage enhancements, and support digital platform roadmaps
• →Provide day-to-day application support, troubleshoot system and user issues, monitor application performance and interfaces, coordinate technical resolution; Define and guide the architecture, configuration, and sustainment strategy for integrations between Windchill, ERP, CAD, EPLAN, MES, QMS, and future digital-thread technologies.
• →Serve as technical advisor to engineering leadership regarding PLM architecture, product data strategy, and enterprise system integration opportunities; Coordinate and lead Windchill upgrades, patches, enhancements, and releases, including planning, testing, deployment, validation, and post-go-live support
• →Lead cross-functional PLM steering teams and facilitate prioritization of enhancement requests, investments, and system capabilities; Collaborate with Engineers and Designers to maintain and improve PLM tool quality, gathering feedback and delivering best-practice training, and drive initiatives to improve data quality, consistency, audit readiness, and system adoption
• →Establish improved data quality, system adoption, and process consistency through user training, documentation, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• →Establish and maintain enterprise standards for product data governance, configuration management, change control, and digital thread initiatives; maintain system documentation, configuration records, support procedures, training materials, and cross-training necessary to ensure knowledge continuity and reliable support.
• →Evaluate emerging PLM, AI, automation, and engineering technologies and develop recommendations that improve engineering effectiveness and operational efficiency; Participate in application security, access reviews, audit, compliance, business continuity, and disaster-recovery activities.
• →Provide support outside normal business hours when required for major releases, upgrades, or critical production incidents.
• →Develop business cases, ROI assessments, and implementation strategies for future PLM-related initiatives; Utilize continuous improvement methodologies to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and improve engineering business processes

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical discipline (Certifications in CM2, PMP, PLM, Windchill preferred)
• 5+ years of experience administering PLM systems in a manufacturing environment, with direct Windchill administration experience strongly preferred
• Experience with system security, workflow configuration, and vendor management within a PLM platform (Automation, analytics, AI-enabled technologies, or low-code platforms experience preferred)
• Experience interfacing between Engineering and IT to define requirements for PLM system optimization (Experience leading integrations, upgrades, global deployments, or process standardization initiatives preferred)
• Experience supporting enterprise software implementations, upgrades, integrations, or digital transformation initiatives (experience integrating Windchill with ERP systems such as JD Edwards and EPLAN preferred)
• Strong understanding of product structures, Bills of Materials, engineering documentation, and release management processes (Knowledge of manufacturing, product development, and engineering operations preferred)
• Ability to translate business requirements into sustainable PLM configurations and coordinate effectively across Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, and external service providers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills
