Salary: | HK$17,611 – HK$27,413 (HGPS point 2 - 9) per month including Monthly Allowance Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance. |
Key Responsibilities:
Post A: Finance Department - Revenue Management & Treasury Services
1. Handle patient billing, settlement, refund and shroff operation.
2. Liaise with wards for patient charging items.
3. Handle and follow up external and internal enquiries on billing issues.
4. Prepare, check and ensure the accuracy of transaction reports.
5. Perform accounting and clerical duties including data entry, data analysis, filing and record keeping.
6. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
7. May be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA.
Post B: Finance Department - Financial Operations & Control
1. Perform accounts payable, reconciliation of general ledger, handling invoices and other day-to-day financial accounting duties;
2. Assist in monthly, interim and year-end closing;
3. Compile statistics; assist in data analysis and preparation of financial and management reports;
4. Liaise with internal departments, cluster hospitals and other parties in fulfilling the duties;
5. Perform general clerical duties including data input, filling records, database maintenance and daily operation at Finance Department;
6. Assist in implementation and monitoring of internal control procedures;
7. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Entry Requirements: | ||
1. | (a) Passes in 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination including English Language (Syllabus B), Chinese Language and Mathematics, or equivalent; OR | |
| (b) 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below: | |
|
| (i) Level 2 in English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics; and |
|
| (ii) Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects / "Attained" in Applied Learning subjects / Grade E in Other Language subjects; or equivalent; |
2. | Ability to perform typing, word processing and / or Chinese word processing. |
Preferable Attributes / Exposure:
1. With accounting/finance related certificate or some relevant working experience.
2. Hands-on experience in common office automation (e.g. E-mail, Internet/ Intranet etc) and PC applications (e.g. MS Excel, Word processing and Access etc).
3. Knowledge and experience in HA systems (e.g. ERP, PBRC, OPAS).
4. 1 year clerical experience.
5. Self-motivated, strong analytical mind, good interpersonal skill and communication skills.
6. Responsible, able to work independently and under pressure.
7. Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
8. Experience in HA hospital finance will be an advantage.
