Harbinger is seeking an energetic and experienced Product Line Program Manager to join our Program Management Office. In this role, you will work with a highly innovative team leading the initial launch and productionization of one or more cutting-edge product lines. Reporting to the Director of Engineering Programs, you will coordinate, manage, and communicate the status of engineering programs across our organization.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Define, monitor, and deliver key product program activities according to Harbinger’s new product introduction process; coordinate and lead gate reviews.
- Develop and maintain program health dashboards with key performance indicators and report out to executive leadership.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and cross-functional partners to meet milestones and balance competing priorities, guiding and supporting them to successful launch while demonstrating a strong sense of urgency.
- Work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to ensure timely parts development, release, ordering, and delivery.
- Identify technical, supply chain, or other risks early; report and resolve. roadblocks with documented corrective action plans in formal risk register.
- Drive operational alignment across Engineering, Production, and Operations teams.
- Partner with key suppliers on product development (monthly international travel may be required)
- Partner with engineering counterparts to follow robust processes, including requirements definition, design reviews, build event planning, and design validation testing.
- Drive resolution of engineering concerns, ensuring thorough Root Cause Analysis and the implementation of both interim and permanent corrective actions.
- Liaise with product management and other teams to evaluate feasibility and desirability of product feature changes.
- Develop and maintain project plans to resolve concerns, implement continuous improvements, and coordinate model year changes.
- Drive the execution of product improvement initiatives (including: cost reduction, durability, serviceability, etc.).
- Collaborate with the change management team to support smooth implementation of cross-functional coordinated changes.
- Support Finance and Engineering in budget forecasting and management.
- Identify and escalate resource constraints to meet deliverables.
Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in an engineering discipline.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in a program management role within a technical sector (automotive experience is a plus).
- Startup experience is advantageous.
- Program launch.
- Change management.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Experience with SmartSheets or MS Project.
- Familiarity with Atlassian Jira is a plus.
- CAD experience is a plus.
- Helpful Qualifications:
- Familiarity with APQP, ISO 9001, ISO 26262, problem-solving frameworks, and other vehicle development systems.
- Vehicle hardware integration and packaging.
- Vehicle test and validation.
- Electrical system design and harnessing layout.
- Automotive electronic devices.
- EV powertrains.
- Vehicle software and controls.
- Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly and concisely.
