ComForCare Home Health Care (North San Diego) is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our growing team in San Diego, CA. Responsibilities:

Provide hands-on personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) to promote independence and dignity
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
Monitor and document changes in client health, behavior, or condition and report to supervisors
Safely assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
Administer medication reminders in accordance with care plans
Follow individualized care plans to meet each client's unique physical and emotional needs

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Direct Support Professional, caregiver, home health aide, or similar role preferred
Genuine compassion, patience, and dedication to supporting individuals in need
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and follow detailed care plans
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
High school diploma or GED required
