Essential Responsibilities

Personal Care & Daily Living Assistance

Assist clients with personal hygiene and grooming
Provide assistance with dressing and shaving
Support ambulation, mobility, and transfers
Prepare meals and snacks according to care plans
Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands
Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties
Provide companionship and emotional support

Client-Specific Care

Following training and delegation by a Right at Home nurse, responsibilities may include:

Medication reminders
Hospice supportive care
Assisting with prescribed range-of-motion exercises
Blood glucose monitoring assistance
Care for bed-bound clients
Incontinence care
Safe use of gait belts, Hoyer lifts, and other transfer equipment

Preferred Skills & Experience

Minimum of three (3) years of caregiving or CNA experience preferred
Experience with Hoyer lifts and transfer assistance
Personal care and hygiene assistance
Range-of-motion exercises
Foley catheter care
Incontinence care
Companionship and client engagement
Light housekeeping and meal preparation

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (preferred or required per state regulations)
Reliable transportation
Ability to pass a background check
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor
